I'm surprised Nolan didn't turtle to try and draw a 7 minute PP.

Heaviest game of the year? Miller eclipsing Smith for my seventh player vote.

With the recent play of Miller and Mcquaid's history of injury, does this make Mcquaid expendable if you could use him in trade to get a top four D-men. I understand that Miller has been paired with Chara and he makes anyone look better but the bruins need another top D-men if the hope to make another run a the cup

The dude can flat out bang. I'm more than OK with a Chara-Miller pairing from here on out.

Yeah, absolutely. I've kinda said from the start of the season that McQuaid could be the next Mark Stuart. The Bruins have a ton of young blue-liners coming up through the system, and you factor that into the injury concerns (as you've mentioned) with McQuaid and it's more than possible to envision a scenario where he's moved if the Bruins that can get them something to help in the now.

I'm not. If he turtled again he knows that he'd become known for it around the league for the rest of his career.

Explain then Bieskas I wanna be a male dog act against the Flames. Walking away with his tail between his legs and leting a rookie take on Westy.

Yeah, I think Miller is a lot better than McQuaid especially when it comes to decision making in regards to pinching in at the point. With the injuries this year, I would be hesitant about giving up a D man from the roster, seems like every 3 games someone goes down for a week or two.

This is the best Marchand has played since 2011, Smith and Bergeron are making some great passes to him too. Unfortunately Spooner has hit the wall (even he admitted it a couple days ago), but it'll just be a good experience for him learning to deal with not playing well and getting through it at this level.

I agree. If Bart (less penalties) and Miller both continue to play well, Chia could rent a veteran bottom six lefty for playoff depth. Maybe Mark Stuart...

Z-Dougie
Bart-Boychuk
Krüg-Miller
Caveman-Quaider

Oh, and I'd also give Chad Johnson more starts down the stretch. Feb and March sked is basically four games a week.

I owe praise when it is due since I am the first the bash Marchand when he acts like a douche. When he knocks off the B$-- He is lights out. That goal was great patience and execution.

Whoa whoa whoa ... let's not get ahead of ourselves here. Millers been really solid, but I'd suggest against banking on him playing 25 minutes enough against elite players in the playoffs.

A promising young player for sure, a Seidenberg replacement, he is not.

Yeah but I would think that puts McQuaid notice if anything. Very similar situation that lead to Stuart getting dealt to Atlantipeg.

I like his game and he is going to be good for the B's. Good deal by Chia. Still like to see if they could rent a top 4 D man for a playoff run. Who's in and who's out of the playoffs will be a lot clearer by the time March 5 comes around. B's just need to keep a top 3 spot till then.

Would Quaider and Caron be enough to rent a #4 d man? Bart's spot to lose right now.

Not sure how you jump to that conclusion from my comment...

That's a Toronto trade wish if I ever heard one.
